General Description
The Cohn de Laval Association is a not-for-profit organization that serves as the educational and scientific arm of the World Apheresis Association. It exists as a source of funds, provided by industry and other sources, to be used for awards, grants, education, and other non-operational needs of the WAA. The activity of the Cohn de Laval Association is under the control of a five member Board of Trustees, three of whose members are past presidents of the WAA.
